Document Scanner (Photo → Scanned PDF)

Turn a phone photo of a document into a clean black-and-white scanned PDF — combine pages, rotate, adjust, and download. Free and 100% private in your browser.

100% in your browser — your document is never uploaded. “Black & White” gives the cleanest scan look; tweak brightness/contrast if text is too light or background too grey.

How to use it

Upload one or more photos of your document, pick a scan filter (Black & White works best for text), fine-tune brightness and contrast, rotate any page if needed, then download a single PDF or the current page as a JPG.

When you need this in Nepal

  • Submitting citizenship, passport, marksheets or certificates online or by email.
  • Bank, scholarship, visa and job applications that ask for “scanned copies”.
  • Turning paper receipts, forms and letters into tidy PDFs without a real scanner.

Tips for a clean scan

  • Shoot straight above the page in good, even light (avoid shadows).
  • Place the document on a dark, contrasting surface.
  • Use Black & White for text; raise brightness if the background looks grey.

Privacy

Your documents are processed entirely on your device and never uploaded — important for sensitive personal papers.

Frequently asked questions

How do I scan a document with my phone?

Take a clear, well-lit photo of the document, upload it here, choose the 'Black & White' scan filter, adjust brightness/contrast if needed, and download as a PDF. You can add several photos to make a multi-page PDF.

Does my document get uploaded anywhere?

No. Everything happens inside your browser — the image and the finished PDF never leave your device. That matters for sensitive documents like citizenship, marksheets and bank papers.

Can I combine multiple pages into one PDF?

Yes. Upload or add multiple photos and they become pages in a single PDF, in order. You can rotate or remove any page before exporting.

What's the difference between the filters?

Black & White gives the classic crisp scan (best for text). Magic Colour keeps colour but whitens the paper. Grayscale and Enhance keep shades while sharpening. Original applies no filter.

Does it straighten a tilted photo automatically?

Not in this version — it applies scan filters, rotation and multi-page PDF. For the best result, take the photo straight above the document on a flat, contrasting surface. Auto edge-detection may be added later.

Is it free?

Yes, completely free with no sign-up and no watermark.
