What is Tools Pasal?
“Pasal” means shop in Nepali, and that’s exactly what this is: a one-stop shop of small tools that solve real, everyday problems in Nepal. Instead of hunting across different sites, you get a Bikram Sambat (BS) date converter, land and area unit converters, tax and salary calculators, share-market tools, Preeti-to-Unicode conversion, image and PDF utilities, and more — all in one clean, fast place.
Every tool lives on its own page so it loads quickly, works well on mobile, and is easy to find on Google. There are no sign-up walls for the basic tools and no clutter.
Why we built it for Nepal
Most generic online calculators don’t understand Nepal. They don’t know the Bikram Sambat calendar, the ropani–aana–paisa–daam land system, Nepali income-tax slabs, NEPSE broker commissions, NEB grading, or the Preeti font that still runs much of Nepali typing. We research the real Nepali rules, units and government rates for each tool and verify them against authoritative sources, so the answers are actually correct for Nepal — not a foreign approximation.
Private and free by design
The vast majority of our tools run entirely in your browser. Your files, numbers and text are processed on your own device and are never uploaded — which makes the tools fast, usable offline, and genuinely private. A few tools that benefit from saving personal records (like the Period & Cycle Tracker) use a private, secure account; that data belongs only to you. See our privacy policy for details.
Install it & use it offline
Tools Pasal is a Progressive Web App (PWA), so you can install it like an app on your Android phone, iPhone or computer — no Play Store or App Store needed. On mobile, open the browser menu and choose Add to Home Screen; on desktop Chrome or Edge, click the install icon in the address bar. Once installed, it opens full-screen from your home screen and most tools keep working without internet, which matters on slow or patchy Nepali mobile connections. Tools that need live data (currency, gold and fuel rates) simply reconnect when you’re back online.

Accuracy & feedback
We take accuracy seriously — a wrong tax figure or conversion breaks trust. Tools that depend on rates that change over time show an “as of” date and cite their source. If you spot something wrong or want a tool built, email admin@toolspasal.com. We’d love to hear which Nepali tool you need next.
Frequently asked questions
Is Tools Pasal free?
Yes. Every tool is completely free to use, with no sign-up needed for the basic tools and no charges. A few tools that save personal records (like the Period & Cycle Tracker) offer an optional private account.
Do Tools Pasal tools work offline?
Yes — most of them. Tools Pasal is a Progressive Web App, so after your first visit (or once installed) the calculators, converters and image/PDF tools keep working without internet. Only tools that need live data, such as currency, gold and fuel rates, require a connection.
Can I install Tools Pasal as an app on my phone?
Yes. On Android or iPhone, open your browser menu and choose 'Add to Home Screen'. On desktop Chrome or Edge, click the install icon in the address bar. It then opens full-screen like a normal app, with no Play Store or App Store download.
Is my data private?
Yes. The vast majority of tools run entirely in your browser, so your files, numbers and text are processed on your device and never uploaded to a server. See our privacy policy for the full details.
Are the tools accurate for Nepal?
We research the real Nepali rules, units and government rates for each tool — Bikram Sambat, the ropani–aana–paisa–daam land system, Nepali tax slabs, NEPSE commissions, NEB grading and more — and verify them against authoritative sources. Rate-dependent tools show an 'as of' date and cite the source.
Does Tools Pasal work well on mobile and slow connections?
Yes. The site is mobile-first, each tool is on its own lightweight page, and offline support means it stays usable on slow or patchy Nepali mobile networks.
