How to use this tool
Drop in an image, pick a preset or set your own width, height and max size (KB), and download the result. Use Keep aspect ratio to avoid stretching; it pads with white to reach the exact box size that forms expect.
Photo & signature uploads for Nepali forms
Online forms in Nepal — Lok Sewa, university and scholarship portals, EPS Korea, visa and exam applications — usually demand a specific format, exact pixel dimensions and a tight file-size limit. Lok Sewa, for example, asks for a JPG photo and signature with a file size of only a few kilobytes up to about 100 KB on a plain white background, and documents under 500 KB. Phone-camera photos are far too large, so they must be resized and compressed first. Because this tool runs entirely in your browser, your photo and signature stay private — nothing is sent to a server.
Frequently asked questions
How do I compress a photo to a specific KB for an online form?
Upload the image, set the 'Max size (KB)' to the limit your form allows (for example 100 KB), and the tool reduces the quality just enough to fit under that size. You can also set exact pixel dimensions at the same time.
Are my images uploaded to a server?
No. All resizing and compression happen inside your web browser using your device. Your photo and signature never leave your computer or phone, which keeps them private.
Can I resize a photo or signature to exact pixels?
Yes. Enter the width and height in pixels. With 'Keep aspect ratio' on, the image is fitted and padded with white to the exact size; turn it off to stretch to the exact dimensions.
Which format should I choose for a form?
Most Nepali forms require JPG, which is the default and also compresses best. Use PNG only if transparency is needed, or WebP for the smallest size when allowed.
