Enter your marks to see your SEE GPA.

Enter the final marks from your grade-sheet (theory + practical are already combined). GPA is the credit-weighted average of grade points. Percentage is an approximation (GPA × 25). For your official result, always refer to the NEB / OCE grade-sheet. Runs in your browser.

How to use it

Enter the final marks for each subject from your grade-sheet (theory and practical are already combined). Adjust the credit hours if your subject differs from 4, add or remove subjects, and your GPA, grade and approximate percentage update instantly.

How SEE GPA works

GPA = Σ (grade point × credit hours) ÷ total credit hours. Most SEE subjects carry 4 credit hours, so in practice the GPA is close to the simple average of your subject grade points. You need at least grade D (35 marks) in every subject — a subject below 35 is NG(Not Graded).

Sources & disclaimer

Grading scale per the NEB / Office of the Controller of Examinations grading framework (verified 2026). Percentage (GPA × 25) is an approximation, not an official conversion. This is an estimator — your official GPA is on your NEB grade-sheet.

Continuing to +2? Use the NEB GPA Calculator for class 11/12.

Frequently asked questions

How is SEE GPA calculated?

Each subject's final marks give a grade point (A+ = 4.0 down to D = 1.6, NG = 0). Your GPA is the credit-weighted average of those grade points — add up (grade point × credit hours) for every subject and divide by the total credit hours. When all subjects have equal credit, that's just the simple average.

What is the SEE grading scale?

90–100 is A+ (4.0), 80–89 A (3.6), 70–79 B+ (3.2), 60–69 B (2.8), 50–59 C+ (2.4), 40–49 C (2.0), 35–39 D (1.6) and below 35 is NG (Not Graded, 0). Theory and practical marks are already combined into the final subject mark on your grade-sheet.

How do I convert SEE GPA to percentage?

A common approximation is percentage ≈ GPA × 25 (so GPA 3.2 ≈ 80%). The board itself treats this as an estimate, not an exact value — there is no official one-to-one GPA-to-percentage formula.

What GPA do I need to pass SEE?

You must obtain at least grade D (35 marks) in every subject. If any subject is NG (below 35), it is Not Graded and you have not qualified in that subject. Eligibility for a stream in class 11 also depends on your grades in the relevant subjects.

Is this the official result?

No. This is an estimator to help you understand your grade-sheet. Your official GPA comes from NEB / the Office of the Controller of Examinations. Always rely on the official grade-sheet.
