How to create a ZIP
- Drag files or folders onto the box, or use Add files / Add folder.
- Review the list, remove anything you don’t need, and name your ZIP.
- Pick a compression level and tap Create ZIP to download it.
Why bundle files into a ZIP?
Many online applications in Nepal — jobs, scholarships, visa and government portals — ask you to upload several documents (citizenship copy, photo, marksheets, PDFs) and often accept a single file more easily than many. Putting them in one tidy .zip makes uploading and emailing simpler, keeps related files together, and can shrink the total size. Because this tool works entirely on your device, even sensitive documents never leave your computer or phone.
Choosing a compression level
- Store — no compression; fastest. Best when files are already compressed (JPG, PNG, PDF, MP4, MP3).
- Normal — a good balance for mixed content (recommended).
- Maximum — smallest file, slower; great for text, Word/Excel and other documents.
Privacy
Zipping and extracting happen locally in your browser — your files are never uploaded. See our privacy policy.

Frequently asked questions
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. The whole tool runs in your browser — your files are zipped or extracted on your own device and never sent to any server. That makes it private and free.
Can I zip a whole folder?
Yes. Use 'Add folder' or drag a folder onto the box; the folder structure is preserved inside the ZIP. You can also mix individual files and folders.
What does the compression level do?
'Store' just bundles files without compressing — fastest, and best when your files are already compressed (JPG, PNG, PDF, MP4). 'Normal' is a good balance. 'Maximum' makes the smallest ZIP but takes longer, useful for text and documents.
Can I open / extract a ZIP too?
Yes. Switch to the 'Extract ZIP' tab, choose a .zip file, and download any file inside it — or all of them at once.
Is there a size limit?
There's no fixed limit, but because everything happens in your browser's memory, extremely large totals (several GB) may not fit. For normal document and photo bundles you'll have no problem.
